Since 2007 Clearview Estate have diversified and now have 3.5ha of Cherries and 3ha of Pomegranates. From these plantings, many medal winning wines have been produced since the first vintage in 1998 and continue to do so today. “Chardonnay grows so well in Te Awanga,” says Matt Kirby, chief winemaker. There are 8ha of grapes at Clearview comprised of Chardonnay, Semillon, Shiraz and Cabernet Sauvignon.
